“It was my privilege to know Claudette, whom I met in her later years through Annik. I hold particularly dear the memory of a road trip we took together when she was returning from Québec to her home town and I happened to be going that way. She shared some of her life stories with me on that ride and I quickly understood the central role her children and extended family played in her life. My condolences to her family and loved ones in whom her beautiful light lives on.”
