He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Hand (Bud) and Christina Hand (Ferris); his brother Wayne (Arlene) of Kamloops, BC.; his former wife Lorraine (Leaver); and his children, Deborah-Ann (late Jonas), David and Brenda (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; and his stepchildren, Daniel (Jody) and Kimberley (Kevin). He is also survived by many grand-children, nieces and nephews.
