The passing of David James (Sudbury, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy James and May James; his wife Mina James; his siblings, John (Irene), Tom (Winnie), Steve (Betty), Harvey (Claire), Ruth (Richard) and Mary (Harvey); and his brother-in-law Bruce Stubbington.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sally (Stubbington) and Dan (Marjori); his sons, Kevin (Barb), Mike, Ron (Joanne), Rob (Sandra) and Brent; and his stepdaughters, Carol (Dan), Annette, Viviane (Glen) and Pauline (Claude). He is also survived by the many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or Finlandia SISU Foundation would be appreciated.
