He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwood Shelswell and Joan Shelswell; and his brother Peter Shelswell. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Migneaut (Mitch) of Ottawa and Joshua Shelswell (Daisy) of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Nick, Nathan and Declyn; his siblings, Penny Shelswell of Sudbury and Gerry Shelswell (Suzanne) of Val Therese; his siblings' children, Darren (Laura), Natalie (Cody), Angela, Ashley (Phil) and Christopher; and his friend Denise Paquin of Timmins. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles.
