He was predeceased by: his son Gregg; his mother Vicky; and his siblings, Claire Brosseau and Irene Hurd. He is survived by: his wife Mary Pilon; his son Jeff (Krista); his siblings, Cecile Mooyekind and Richard Pilon; his sister-in-law Elzine Shuttleworth; and his close friends, Buddy, Brian, Moe and Dwight. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Rj Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (379 Horobin St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C3S6).
