He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Polmateer and Grant Polmateer; and his brothers, Frank, Don (Murielle) and Tyrone (Linda).

He is survived by: his wife Mona Guitard; and his siblings, Ruth (late Dennis), Robert (Debbie) and Debbie (Ralph). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
