It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Domenico Belfiore of Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Antonio Belfiore and Vittoria Niceforo; and his brothers, Nazareno (Immacolata) and Raffaele (Giuseppina). He is survived by: his wife Caterina; his children, Vittoria (John), Olga (Dave), Antonio (Sheri), Dolinda and Andrea (Steve); his grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Michael, Alexis, Michaela, Christopher, Alyssa, Cristina, Jessica and Emma; his sister Caterina (Antonio); and his siblings-in-law, Teresa (Mariso) and Giuseppe (Giuseppina). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lougheed Funeral Home (252 Regent St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C4C8). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Church (591 Brennan Rd, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C 5L6).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Donations are being accepted for: Alzheimer Society of Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay and Districts.
