It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Saarinen (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Niilo and Laina; and her sibling Eira Kurkimaki (Mikko). She is survived by: her spouse Oiva Saarinen; her children, Kai Saarinen (Deborah) and Kristen Large (John); and her siblings, Evelyn Hromlak (Peter), Robert Ojala (Myrna) and Ken Ranta (Linda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
