He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle Elchyshyn. He is survived by: his sister Betty (Colin); his children, Mike Elchyshyn (Kimberly) and Kate Smith; his stepchildren, Denis Lanteigne (Jennifer), Lise Lanteigne (Luc) and Paul Lanteigne (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jackie (Aiden), Laura (Kalin), Leanne (Aaron), Jodi (Josh), Emily, Samantha (Tam), Victoria, Mackenzie, Jeffery, Chad (Brittany), Jordan, Justin (Alexis), Nicholas (Sara Lynn), Tyler (Kaeli) and Alexandria (Reginald); and his great grandchildren, Fionn, Rory, Easson, Jillian, Ellie, Declan, Adalynn, Gus, Cora, Lottie and Theodore.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoulin Health Centre or Northeast Cancer Centre Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (friends may call 2:00 -4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm.
