Edward Lukie Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Lukie (Sudbury, Ontario), born in Grandview, Manitoba, who passed away on August 21, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Lukie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Lukie and Mary Lukie; his son Dennis Lukie (Darlene); and his siblings, Paul, Walter (Isabel) and Amy Arnason (Les).

He is survived by: his wife Emily (Ranich); his children, Raymond Lukie, CSsR of Saskatoon, SK and Laurie Witt (David) of Oakville, ON; his sisters, Anne Christiuk (Roman) and Irene Syrnick (Stan); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Tylor, Erica and Logan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic directives, 50 people or fewer are permitted in the visitation room, and 80 or fewer in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
