It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Matti Kaitola in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Lila Zoschke; and his parents, Matti and Saima. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Kaitola; his children, Ken (Jennifer) of Burnstown, Don of Lively, John (Marivic) of Mississauga and Katherine (Gino) of Kanata; his grandchildren, Matti, Ryan, Thomas, Gianluca, Maija, Anika, Meredith and Alistair; and his brother Arnold Kaitola (Linda) of South Porcupine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
