We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Egle Piera Wennerstrom (Sudbury, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Egle is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Egle's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Zanella and Dora Irma Zanella (DeCet). She is survived by: her husband Arthur Wennerstrom; her children, Bruno (Giselle) of Sudbury and Cindy (Marcin Wroblewski) of Mississauga; her sisters, Paula Zanella (Jim Brown) of Lively and Loretta Bostrom (Brent) of Sudbury; and her great grandchildren, Alice and Marceline.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A reception will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the J&b Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's name may be made to: The Alzheimer's Society (supporting in-home activation programs) or, Maison McCullough Hospice, whose care meant the world to us and without whom we would have been completely lost.
