It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Gaboriaud (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Elaine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elaine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Valeria Gaboriaud and Henri Gaboriaud. She is survived by: her son Alex Pitzel; her sister Susan Gaboriaud; her aunts, Ellen Hamilton and Theresa Houle; and her cousins, Vance, Lisa and Kayla.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, the Alzheimer's Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario SPCA.
