She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Nicola Messina; her children, Mario (late Jeanne), Joe (Liz) and Teresa (Daniele Sindori); her grandchildren, Sarah (Yanik Mayer), Melanie Messina (Mathieu Pelletier), Kelsey (Shawn Lavallee), Stephanie Sindori (Mike Pagnutti), Damian Sindori, Liam and Zoey Lavallee; her parents, Guiseppe and Elena Argiro; her siblings, Angelina Franco (late Pietro), Maria Simone (late Nicola), Nicolina Simone (late Dante), Cosimo Argiro (Maria), Rosa Bellissimo (Nicola), Liliana Coniglio (Domenico) and Pina Musuruca (Cosimo); and her siblings-in-law, Giuseppina (Giuseppe Zanino), Adolfo Giuseppina, Guido (Rena) and Clara Papaleo (Antonio). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
