She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Karin), David (Sally), Hewie (Debbie), Michael, Nancy, Janet and Jennifer (Randy); her great grandchildren, Elisha, Maya, Peter, Mathew, Amanda, Crystal, Christine, Arabella, Emma, Rylan, Austin, Preston, Bryson, Hudson and Logan; and her husband Stanley. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (1887 Bancroft Dr, Greater Sudbury, ON P3B1S7). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the same location.

In loving memory, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to a local food bank, carrying forward Betty's belief that no one should ever go hungry, or to the Adult Program at the Alzheimer's Society, in gratitude for the wonderful care and community they provided to Betty.
