With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Marie Jokinen (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on April 10, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Antoine (Jack) and Justine Antoine (Deroy); and her siblings, Oswald (late Ida), Ida (late Russell), Violet (late Ernest), Peter (Lorraine), Norman (late Helen), George, Victor (late Jean), Isabelle, Stanley and Jack (late Myrna).
She is survived by: her husband Eino Jokinen; her siblings, Ola (late Oscar) and Gerald; her daughters, Elsie Galipeau (late Larry) and Donna MacLeod (Rod); her grandchildren, Debbie Crouch (Lee), Sherry Maki (Craig), Michael Boisvenue (Giselle) and Dan Galipeau; her great grandchildren, Ryan Crouch (Brittany), Jordan Frolich (late Katelane), Joshua Boisvenue (Jillian), Jacob Boisvenue, Brandon Maki and Tyler Maki; her great great grandchildren, Hailey, Jace, Eliana, Alyne and Elizabeth; and her close friend Lorraine Boisvenue (Wayne).
