With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Asunmaa (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on December 12, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Kirsti Kiiskinen and Paavo Kiiskinen; her significant other Mikko Asunmaa; her son Allan (Judy); her grandchildren, Michael (Lexi) and Brittany (Thad); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Ava and Aidan.
Interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. (Friends may call after 10:30am Thursday. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic directives, 80 people or fewer are permitted in the chapel, and face masks are mandatory.) For those unable to attend in person, the service can be viewed by livestream.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Finlandia SISU Foundation or New Hope Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
