It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elli Haaranen (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elli Haaranen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Laitinen and Matilda Laitinen (Honkola). She is survived by : her spouse Alpo "Al" Haaranen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
