Emma McKechnie Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2022, at the age of 97, Emma McKechnie (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Emma McKechnie; her husband John; her parents, Annie Chawner and William Chawner; her grandmother Jane Walker; her close friends, Jewell Wilson, Ellen Campbell and Jean McGuire; her daughters, Joan Giroux (late Jim) and Jean McKechnie (Flemming Jensen); her grandchildren, Michael Giroux (Sherry), Stephanie Giroux (Geoffrey Rayburn) and Jenny Giroux-McKechnie (Mark Kernan); her great grandchildren, James, Eleanor Giroux, Angus and Fiona Rayburn; her siblings, Willie, John Watt, Jean and Tommy Chawner; and her siblings' children, Harry, Billy, Emma Prentice (Brown), Thomas, Jean and William Chawner.
