Emma Midena Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Midena (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma Midena to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Bernardi (Bomben) and Fredrico Bernardi; her siblings, Primo, Vic and Vicki Pitman; and her son Alan.

She is survived by: her husband Alfredo "Fred" Midena; and her children, Louise Grindatto (Lou), Doreen Laamanen (late Bryan) and Peter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Church (591 Brennan Rd, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C5L6). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
