He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Benedict; his children, Charles Benedict and Jacqueline Clark (Brian); his grandchildren, Alexandra "Ali" and Joshua; and his parents, Ellis Benedict and Violet Benedict.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gail Lorenz and Penny Lagacé (Marvin). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
