She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Dixon and William Dixon; her siblings, Doris Penny (Arthur "Butch") and George Dixon (Taina); and her husband Leonard John Penny.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Larocque (late Daniel) and Edward Penny (Manuela); her grandchildren, David Larocque (Jenne), Stephen Larocque (Lisa), Andrea Penny (Greg Lakanen), Laura Clarke (Brad) and Michael Penny; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Kristin, Sophie, Hailey, Poppy and Autumn.
