He was predeceased by: his children, Jacqueline "Jackie" Barbe (Roger Roy), Richard (Kerry) and Fernand Jr.; his parents, François Barbe and Jeanne Barbe; and his brothers, Denis, Gérald "Gerry" and Gabriel.

He is survived by: his wife Denise. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
