He was predeceased by: his mother Rosina Simone (Tiano); his sister Rosaria Astri (Giovanni); his brother-in-law Gino De Luca (Rita); and his extended family, Franco (Eleni), Athanasiou (Jane), Euaggelia (Georgios), Rossana and Katerina (Dimitrios).
He is survived by: his father Eugenio De Simone; his brothers-in-law, Paul De Luca (Anna) and Tony De Luca (Grace); his wife Maria (De Luca); his children, Sandro (Julie), Rosemary (Michael DiBrina) and Claudio (Lisa); his grandchildren, Megan (Fabian Elliott), Mathieu (Lorrie Blais), Adam (Scarlett Ross), David, Amy (Anthony Cimino) and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Zara and Avery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
