She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Peltier and Mary Jane Shawana; and her siblings, Robert (Annie), Violet, Arlene, Margaret Trudeau (Eric) and Hazel.
She is survived by: her children, Adrienne Shawana (Lee Allaire) and Kacey Shawana-Wright; and her siblings, Adam (Donna), Shirley and Lorda. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
