Gemma Muia Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2020, Gemma Muia (Sudbury, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Giuseppe "Joe" Muia; her children, Ines Verrilli and Frank Muia (Beth); her son-in-law Vincenzo Verrilli; her great grandchildren, Gemma and Reid Collins; her parents, Vincenzo Muscolo and Maria Rosa Muscolo; and her siblings, Cecilia, Bruno and Theresa. She was also cherished by many nephews and nieces, cousins, family, and friends.

The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at the Walford Retirement Home and Bayshore where the caring staff were like family during Covid and the 8 years she lived there.
