He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Sweanor and Alice Mary McGirr; his wife Joan Saunders; his siblings, Ruth Filiatrault and Trevor; and his grandson Braden Bruington.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Jagoda of Colorado Springs, Diane Edwards of Toronto, Valerie Bruington of Basalt, Patricia Sweanor of LaPorte and Linda Sweanor of Montrose. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and other relatives.
