George Yarkie Obituary

We announce the death of George Yarkie in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 90. George will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Yarkie; his parents, Edward Yarkie and Mildred Yarkie; his siblings, Bill (Connie), Herman (Pauline) and Hilda (late Wes); and his brother-in-law Arnold (Helen).

He is survived by: his children, Donna Leclair-Brisson (Daniel), David Yarkie and Darren Yarkie; his grandson Kyle (Toni); his great grandchildren, Alexander and Elizabeth; his siblings, Betty (late Charlie), Linda (late Roger), Carl, Raymond (Ginette), Mildred Yarkie (Rose) and Randy (late Sylvianne); and his siblings-in-law, Ray and Corinne.
