He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Marc Blanchette (Rachelle), Lianne Blanchette-Giroux (Roger) and Joanne Blanchette; his granddaughter Nicole Blanchette; his great grandchild Sylas Violette; his parents, Wilfred Blanchette and Clara Charbonneau; and his siblings, Roger Blanchette (Jeanette), Robert Blanchette, Ernest Blanchette (Fernande), Jeanette Lenuik (William), Romuald Blanchette (Sylvia) and Roland Blanchette (Denise).
