He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Derouin and René Derouin; his significant other Judith; his son Kevin Derouin; and his siblings, Donald Derouin and Mary Fournier (late Ron).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Derouin (Kathy), Laura Therrien (Chris), Traci Richardson (Lawrence), Pamella Key (Steve) and Matthew Derouin (Cristina); and his sister Elizabeth Temple (late Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family offers the option of donating in Gerry's memory to either the Georgina Community Food Pantry or the Southlake Health Foundation's Regional Cardiac Program.
