He was predeceased by: his parents, Prosper Hamelin and Yvonne Hamelin; and his siblings, Lucille Lacourse (late Gil), Lucien Hamelin (late Esther) and Gabrielle Bertrand (late Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Gisèle Hamelin; his children, Joanne Hamelin (Michel Rivard), Denis Hamelin and Julie Hamelin (Darren Kavanagh); his grandchildren, Lexie Rivard, Ben Rivard, Emily Hamelin, Olivia Hamelin, Clara Kavanagh and Lucy Kavanagh; his siblings, Lilianne Harrington (Gary) and Fernand Hamelin; and his sisters-in-law, Rhéa Taus (Ron), Liette Martin (Rick) and Fern Arseneault (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Paroisse Ste-Marguerite d'Youville (4290 route régionale 80, Val Thérèse, ON).
