With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerlinde Paterson of Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on June 20, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Engelbert; and her brother Werner Kappler Sudbury (Elly). She is survived by: her husband Charles Paterson; her children, Sharon Martha Gauler, Glenn Gauler (Kim Izzet) and Jason Scott Paterson (Jennifer Atkinson); her stepchildren, Sherri Lee Paterson, Kingston and Charles W. Paterson (Rose); her stepgrandchildren, Adrian, Adam and Alicia; her grandsons, Justin Matthew Victor Gazley and Jack Sagan Paterson; her sisters, Lena Gorzynski (late Marcel), Gerda Renkewitz (late Fritz) and Stuttgart; her siblings' children, Madeline Buckman, Patricia Bondson, Raymond Gorzynski and Anneliese Flynn; her great-niece Angela Flynn; her great-nephew Bill Flynn; and her siblings' children, Elke Renkewitz, Ute Renkewitz and Manfred Renkewitz.
