He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Rivest and Germaine Rivest; and his wife Pauline Rivest. He is survived by: his children, Robert Rivest, Brigitte Bird (Bryan), Bryan Rivest, Robin Lefebvre (Pierre) and Rachel Blais (late Marc); and his grandchildren, Corey Lefebvre (Holly), Sarah Bird (Noah Beausoleil), Eric Lefebvre, Emily Lefebvre, Evan Bird (Ivy Ireland), Aila Rivest, Aaron Rivest, Aline Blais (Kyle Brisson) and André Blais. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
