He was predeceased by: his son Roch; his parents, Hector Bonin and Hilda Bonin; his brother Jacques Bonin (Paulette Bonin); and his siblings-in-law, Claudette Dumont and Jean-Louis Portelance (Bernadette).
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Bonin; his daughter Manon; his granddaughter Sydnée; his siblings, Lili Anne Woychuk (late Walter), Georgette Jutras (late Belarmin), Rejeane Michaud (late Gilbert), Lucille Litalien (late Marcel), Raymond, Marguerite Bonin, Dr. Richard, Lillianne Bonin and Madeleine Bonin; and his siblings-in-law, Maurice Portelance (late Suzanne), Madeleine Madore (Henri), Nicole Portelance (Manuel), Julie Prevost (Roland) and Leon Portelance Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
