It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grygori Babiak (Sudbury, Ontario), who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Grygori Babiak to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ivan (Nina) of Ukraine, Mychailo of Ukraine and Zenovii of Ukraine; his parent-in-law Mychailo Manovych; and his parents, Stephania Babiak and Bohdan Babiak.

He is survived by: his wife Marika; his child Olesia of Sudbury; his sibling Ihor (Ania) of Ukraine; his parent-in-law Olya Manovych of Ukraine; his sibling-in-law Serhiy (Halia Manovych) of Hamilton; his sibling's children, Andriy and Solomia of Hamilton; and his great-aunt Mary Mokrynski. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donation to St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Donations are being accepted for: HEART STROKE FOUNDATION ONTARIO (HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO) St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
