He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Gruntz and Henry Gruntz; and his sibling Shirley Gruntz. He is survived by: his wife Isabell Gruntz (Dwyer); his children, Darwin, Darlene and Roger; his grandchildren, Andrew, Amy, Michael (Valerie), Jade (Dylan), Alex (Marisa) and Trayle (Nick); his great grandchildren, Mia, Finn, Charlotte, Hadley and Aspen; and his siblings, Roy Gruntz and Carolyne Kauffeldt.
