With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hazel Hodgins of Sudbury, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Hazel left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her mother Hazel; her daughter Nancy (Leonard); and her grandson Trevor. She is survived by: her siblings, Freida, Charlie, Mary, George, Jean and John; her husband Clayton; her children, Gary (Ruby), Rick (Sue), Cathey (Ken) and Scott (Lana); and her grandchildren, Ryan (Barb), Christopher (Alicia), Carley (Brent), James (Sarah), Michael (Dana), Caitlynne (Jeff), Gregory (Amanda), Lindsey (Josh) and Tiffany (Harry). She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1).
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Sudbury-Manitoulin, North Bay & Districts or the Health Sciences North Foundation in memory of Hazel.
