He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dakin and Jeanne Dakin; Emily Dakin. He is survived by: his children, Mary-Ann Bouchard (Denis), Jenny Wass (Michael), June Dallaire (Dan) and Charity Dakin; his grandchildren, Ricky Paradis (Kaitlyn), Stephanie Paradis (Curtis), Luc Bouchard (Lori), Camille Poitras, Daryl Dakin and Zachary Dallaire; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Ethen, Yenic, Ivory, Jaxson and Emely; and his siblings, Maurice Dakin (Jacinthe) and Lorraine Jones (Melvin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (3523 Errington Ave, Chelmsford, ON P0M1L0).
