He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charlie, Rudy, Marshall, Leonard, Borden and Marion.
He is survived by: his children, Steve, Cathy, Michael and Randy (Silvia); his grandchildren, Tessa, Matthew, Tyler, Callista, Alianna and Mattea; his great grandchild Olivia; his children-in-law, Brian and Dayna; his sister-in-law Rose; his friend Andy Inch; and his caregivers, Silija, Edward, Jacob and Nancy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lougheed Funeral Home (252 Regent St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C4C8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
As Hubie would have wanted, in lieu of flowers, donations to HSN's Camp Dorset Fund to support dialysis patients attending the camp.
