She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Friedberger and Helene Friedberger; her sister Else; her husband Karl Neuman; and her son Detlef Neuman (late Leona).
She is survived by: her siblings, Heinz and Hilde; her daughters, Angela Kitts (Randy), Viola Adams (Dennis), Diana Martin (Patrick), Monika Barrette (Don) and Marianne Kowal (Edward); and her grandchildren, Kristina, Erica, Sean, Robert, Karina, Kurtis, Ian, Ryan, Jodi, Jason, Alex, Brandyn and Kamilla. She is also survived by her 11 great grandchildren.
