The family announces the passing of Irène Démoré (Sudbury, Ontario) on September 9, 2026. Irène, born on July 4, 1938, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rejean Demore; and her significant other Marcel Gagnon. She is survived by: her children, Bob Demore (Monique), Marc Demore (late Lorraine) and Micheline Preseault (Richard); her stepchildren, Carole Gagnon, Joseph Gagnon (Patti), Pierrette Gagnon and Guy Gagnon (Terry); her grandchildren, Josee (Matt), Guy (Jessica), Brigitte (Don), Eric (Ashley) and Joel; her great grandchildren, Marcus, Merik, Maeva, Olivia, Mia, Sebastien, Cassidy and Adam; and her siblings, Clarence Bergeron (Jackie), Adrienne Demore (late Donald) and Viviane Labranche. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cooperative Funeral Home (222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, ON P3A1W5). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel.
