He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Filshie and James Filshie; and his brother James Filshie. He is survived by: his wife Gail (Hamilton); his children, Sean Sokoloskie (Debbie), Sheri Sokoloskie of Sudbury and Kerry Filshie; his brothers, David Filshie (Karen) of Toronto and Chuck Filshie (Wanda) of Toronto; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah Sokoloskie, Meghan and Sarah Filshie.
