He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon McGarry and Dorothy McGarry; his in-laws, Francoise Gauthier and Maurice Gauthier; and his extended family Aline Gauthier.
He is survived by: his sister Profoundly; his children, Jeffrey (Sara) and Christine (Derek); his grandchildren, Ryann, Graham, Braeden, Paityn and Hudson; his sisters, Bernice (Melvin), Florence and Shirley; his in-laws, Robert and Christine Manners; and his extended family Marcel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in James' honour to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, are appreciated.
