He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaba and Beatrice Gaba (Marynuk). He is survived by: his wife Jean Gaba (Holub); his siblings, Darlene (George) and Michael (Elaine); and his brother-in-law Paul Holub (Rita). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (40 Notre Dame Ave, Greater Sudbury, ON P3C5K2).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jerry's memory, for those who wish to honor his life through support and compassion.
