He is survived by: his sisters, Monique Poitras and Constance Auger; his sister-in-law Marie Auger; and his nieces and nephews, Gilles, Dr. Julie, Denis, Sylvain, Dr. Michèle and Martin. He is also survived by many great-nephews, great-nieces, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Jean-Marc kindly requested that donations be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, the Lung Health Foundation or Pet Save Sudbury.
