He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Laforge and Lina Laforge; and his sisters, RĂ©jeanne (Jean-Louis), Colette (Peter) and Monique (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Marg); his children, François and Chantal (Jason); his granddaughters, Amelia, Ava, Allison, Marysole and Lauren; and his siblings, Astrid (late Gerry), Gaëtan (Éliane), Michèle (Fern), Pierre (Stella), Gaston (Lucille) and Nicole. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (39 Walford Rd, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E2H2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:30 PM at the same location.
