He was predeceased by: his wife Georgette Blais; his great grandchild Cole; his parents, Artiste and Elizabeth; his siblings, Annette, Edgar, René, Valois, Simone, Emile, Desneiges, Foch, Gilberte, Thérèse, Georgette, Dorval, Gabrielle and Gervais; his parents-in-law, Olida and Prescille Depatie; and his brothers-in-law, Gilbert (Angele) and Marcel.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne, Diane (late Ron) and Jean-Guy Blais (Tracy); his grandchildren, Christine (Nick), Yvan (Holy), Cindy, Matthew, Randee-Lynn (Richard), Karlee and Carys (Nick); his great grandchildren, Owen, Valerie, Xavier and Autym; his brother André (Nicole) of Quebec City; and his siblings-in-law, Marguerite (Richard), Bert (Ellen), Germaine (Florand), Jacqueline (late Roger), Leonette (late Vince), Victor (late Sue), Gerald (late Michelle) and Larry (Linda).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cooperative Funeral Home (222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, ON P3A1W5).
