In the vast expanse of eternity, Jeanne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jeanne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henri Valiquette and Clara Valiquette. She is survived by: her husband Marcel Rainville; her siblings, Irene Desormeaux (Leo), Ernest "Ernie" Valiquette (Georgette) and Leo "Greek" Valiquette (Pauline); and her children, Alcide (Nancy), Susan (Maurice Tremblay) and Lynda (Richard Godin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lougheed Funeral Home (4605 Michelle Dr, Hanmer, ON P3P1L6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In her memory, donation to the Alzheimer's Society, would be appreciated, so we can eradicate this awful disease.
