Jerry Blount Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Blount (Weaverham, England), who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn his loving family and friends.

There were many things that Jerry loved to do in his retirement years, a few being travel, golf, painting and drawing, pizza and beer nights, and he hosted weekly "Survivor" viewings at his home - but you had to know how to be quiet. Most importantly, Jerry loved being surrounded by his loving family and friends, which was very evident in his last hours where he was surrounded by love and messages of comfort.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Diane (Swanson). Jerry leaves behind his loving family and is survived by children Noreen, Elizabeth (Rob), David (Violet), Chris (Debbie), Amy, grandchildren Samantha (Tenn), Joanna (Darcey), Diana (Dave) Meaghan (Jason), Josh, Matt (Leah), Bob, Dallas, Morgan, Robin (Julia), Riley. One brother, Tony remains in UK along with multiple family members.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13th 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 (1553 Weller Street, Greater Sudbury, Ontario P3B1K9).
