With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Leore (Sudbury, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mason Truman and Ilene Truman. She is survived by: her husband John Henry "Cook" Leore; her children, Kristi (John Sage) and Kim (Jason Levac); and her grandchildren, Jacob (Chelsea), Cole and Maryn.
